摘要 PURPOSE:To make the heat transfer tube to be lengthy and to improve the heat transfer property by forming a porous plating layer on a metallic plate or bar stock in an electrolyte plating liquid, then, performing an electric resistance welding of the plate or bar stock into a tubular shape. CONSTITUTION:The long sized metallic plate or bar stock T on a delivering roll 10 is fed into a plating vessel 13 through driving rolls 12 and supported by a guide jig 15 between electrification rolls 14 connected to the cathode of an electric source. Then, an electric current is sent between an anodic plate 17 to plate on the plate or bar stock T and to form a porous plating layer 3. At this time, fine oxygen bubbles float up from the anodic plate 17, the electrolytic deposited copper including the bubbles is deposited to form a number of hollow parts 2 on the plating layer 3. Succeedingly, after cleansing and drying, the plate or bar stock T is butt seam welded to obtain the heat transfer pipe 1. Setting the plate or bar stock T to the plating vessel is simplified and because the tube stock 1 is manufactured by the butt seam welding, the heat transfer tube is made to be length. Because the porous plating layer 3 is formed on the inner surface of the tube 1, the heat transfer property is improved.
