<p>A method and an apparatus which store in a video memory a frame of TV video signal of a TV receiver, and read it to display it as a still image. To display a still picture as well as running pictures after the still picture, video signals are successively written onto a particular region of the video memory, the video signals being sampled over a number of picture elements that correspond to the address number in said particular region in the step of reading all the addresses in the video memory.</p> |
