Electronic method for improving the quality of a line image

This line image is picked up by means of a detector and refractive or reflective scanning elements. Production tolerances in the scanning elements lead to each line beginning at a different time, and the consequence is a striped line image. The signal of each line can be delayed by means of a suitable delay circuit which must be individually dimensioned for each scanning element, in such a manner that all lines have a common zero point in time. This eliminates the striped structure of the line image.
