PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert inserting materials between or at the front or the rear of a series of paper sheets printed and being successively fed while appropriately synchronizing with the carrying of the sheets. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by arranging a first sensor 192 detecting the passing of a paper sheet 120 just before inserting an inserting material adjacently to a paper route 122. When the first sensor 192 detects the paper sheet, an controlling device 100 makes an inserting device feeding belt 162 drive. In such a manner, the inserting material 146 is sent toward an inserting device route 176. When the inserting material 146 reaches a position joining the stream of the paper sheet 120, the immediately preceding paper sheet 120 passes here through. Then, the inserting material 146 is inserted just after the paper sheet 120. That is the position of the first sensor 192 and the point of time when the controlling device 100 instructs the feeding start of the inserting material 146 are decided so that the inserting material 146 is inserted just after the paper sheet 120. |
