PRODUCTION OF EMBOSSED POLYESTER DECORATIVE LAMINATED SHEET

PURPOSE:To produce an embossed polyester decorative laminated sheet excellent in flexibility by using an embossed film obtained by shaping a composite film consisting essentially of a fluorine-based film into embossed surface. CONSTITUTION:Decorative paper is stuck to the surface of a base sheet through an adhesive, an unsaturated polyester coating contg. a during agent is applied on the decorative paper, and then an embossed film previously fixed to a supporting frame is placed thereon. A composite film consisting essentially of a fluorine-based film is used to prepare the embossed film. A vinyl fluoride resin is appropriately used for the fluorine-based film. Acrylic, vinyl chloride and polyester films are used as the other component materials. A rubber roll is pressed and deaerated on the placing embossed film. The embossed film is then allowed to stand, completely cured and then released to obtain the product. An embossed decorative laminated sheet excellent in flexibility is obtained by this method.
