PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer material having a heat-resistant protective lubricating layer and improved in running properties by providing a thermal transfer functional ink layer on one surface of a base film material and providing a layer based on fluorinated hydrocarbon silicone polyurethane on the other surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:As a base material, a film or paper can be used as it is. A thermal transfer functional ink layer may be constituted as a double-layer ink layer or a disproportioned ink layer if necessary and, as the ink constituting this ink layer, there are two kinds of a heat-meltable type and a thermal sublimation type but there is no special limit. Fluorinated hydrocarbon silicone polyurethane has urethane bond- NHCOO- in its main chain and together has a fluorinated hydrocarbon group of which at least a part of the hydrogen atoms is substituted with a fluorine atom and a silicon hydrocarbon group substituted with a silicon atom and has an urethane bond formed by selecting at least one kind of a compound of a group (I) together having an active hydrogen atom and fluorinated hydrocarbon and at least one kind of a compound of a group (II) being an isocyanate silane compound having a silicon atom and the isocyanate group directly bonded to the silicon atom and subjecting both of them to crosslinking reaction. |
