PURPOSE:To accurately correct the current position of a moving body through easy switch operation by providing a means which specifies an intersection where the moving body passes currently and a means which detects the difference between the intersection position and current position. CONSTITUTION:The intersection specifying means 4 specifies the intersection where the moving body passes currently. Further, a current position deviation detection part 5 is provided between a map data storage part 1 and a current position arithmetic part 2. This current position deviation detection part 5 reads intersection position data corresponding to the name of the specified intersection out of the map data storage part 1 among intersection position data included in attribute data in map data in the map data storage part 1, and detects the position deviation between the intersection position and current position. The current position arithmetic part 2, therefore, changes the current position on a display part 3 so that the position deviation becomes zero, and consequently the current position is displayed on the display part 3 while its error is corrected. |
