PURPOSE:To obtain a dense PLZT ceramic material free from pore by using a hot-pressing apparatus for the powder-molding of PLZT with a structure to enable the flow of oxygen gas into a die. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for the hot-pressing of a PLZT powder-molded article 5 has a gas-inlet hole 8 and a gas-outlet hole 9 on either one of an upper punch 6, a lower punch 2, a die 3 and a die-setting plate to enable the direct flow of oxygen gas into the die 3.
