Rotary screw pump, comprising a body (1) for a tubular part (1a), an endless screw (Archimedian screw) (2) mounted so that it rotates inside the said body, abut the axis (3) of the tubular part, the said body communicating on the upstream side with an opening (4) for drawing in liquid to be pumped, and on the downstream side with an opening (5) for delivering the pumped liquid, characterised in that in combination, on the one hand, the delivery opening (5) exhibits an internal transverse section matched to the external transverse section of the downstream end (2d) of the screw, for expelling a liquid stream through the delivery opening (5) and, on the other hand, a wheel (51) with vanes (paddles) (52) is located about the axis (3) of the tubular part (1a) outside the latter, and at the mouth of the delivery opening (5) in order to take up the expelled liquid stream, split it up and centrifuge it. <IMAGE>
