PURPOSE:To improve the driving stability of a vehicle by increasing the static spring constant without increasing the dynamic spring constant of a strut bar bush. CONSTITUTION:The first inner tube side plate 25 and the second inner tube side plate 28 are fixed to a collar 21 serving as an inner tube, the first outer tube side plate 35 and the second outer tube side plate 50 are extended from the outer tube side, and a cylindrical elastic body is pinched between the inner tube side plates 25, 28 and the outer tube side plates 35, 50. The collar 21 is fitted to 6 strut bar 70, and an outer bush and the second outer tube side plate 50 are fitted to a vehicle body. The elastic body is apparently connected in series to the input F from the strut bar 70, however, it behaves as though it is connected in parallel, and the effective cross section area of the elastic body against the input F is increased. |
