PURPOSE:To realize the musical tone waveform generating device by which various musical tone waveforms can be obtained easily. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of plural musical performance operating pieces for detecting a performer's musical performance operation and a timbre selecting state, an operation detecting part 6 for generating various data in accordance with an operating state of these operating pieces, a waveform/window control part 7 for generating an address and a window function from the data concerned of the operation detecting part 6, a driving waveform memory 10 for reading out waveform data designated by the address of the waveform/window control part 7, and a multiplier 11 for multiplying this waveform data and the window function inputted from the waveform/ window control part, and as for the window function outputted from the waveform/window control part, its value rises gradually from '0', and converges gradually to '0' after a certain value is held for a prescribed time, and a rise time, a read-out speed and a holding period are determined from the data of the operation detecting part 6. |
