PURPOSE:To manufacture a thick cushion corresponding to cushioning performance easily, to save the labor of the pasting process of a surface material and to obtain a cushion body having stable quality and excellent appearance by unifying the surface material and a flexible urethane foam through a bonding material while forming them. CONSTITUTION:A flexible urethane foam 30 is placed between a cushion-body molding die A composed of a bottom force 10 and a top force 20 heated at a comparatively high temperature, thermally compressed and shaped in a desired form in a first process. The surface side of the formed flexible urethane foam 30 or the rear side of a surface material 40 is coated with adhesives 50 in a second process. The surface material 40 is placed on the surface of the sheet, and thermally compressed and formed integrally at a temperature lower than the first process by the cushion-body molding die A having the same shape as the first process. Accordingly, the surface material is shaped along the irregular surface of the previously shaped flexible urethane foam. |
