PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract portrait data by improving a defect of a conventional portrait data extract device so as to distinguish a clothing in a same color as that of a background from the background in the case that a person wears the closing in the same color as the color of the background. SOLUTION: A background color setting section 64 sets a background color of image data 8, and an image data separate section 61 compares the background color set by the background color setting section with a color of the image data 8, stores the image data 8 in the same color as the background color to a background data buffer 82 as background data 81 and stores the other image data 8 to a portrait data buffer 5 as portrait data 82. In this case, same color data 83 are stored in the background data buffer 4. Furthermore, an edge scanning section 62 detects an outer frame of the portrait data 82 in the portrait data buffer 5, and a portrait data supplement section 63 supplements the portrait data buffer 5 by transferring data of a data absent part (part of same color data 83) in the outer frame of the portrait data 82 detected by the edge scan section 62. |
