PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner which can be installed with satisfactory operability by fixedly disposing right and left wind direction plates, holder and the like to an air outlet in advance, and then simply fixedly inserting a guard wire. SOLUTION: An insertion hole 7i communicating with a locking hole 7b1 formed in an elliptical shape at a left holder 7, a temporarily fixing part (protrusion, V-shaped recess) and main fixing part (recess 7d, protrusion(h)) to be locked to locking parts 8a1, 8a2 of a left sidewall 8 are provided at both upper and lower ends. Meanwhile, a through hole 8b corresponding to the hole 7i is provided in the left sidewall, and the temporarily fixing part of the holder 7 is temporarily fixed to a locking part of the sidewall. Then, a guard wire 5 is sequentially passed through the hole 7i of the left sidewall, the hole 7i of the left holder, elliptical locking hole 7b1, insertion holes 3 of right and left wind direction plates 2 and locking hole 7b2 of the right holder. Then, the end is contained in the hole 7b, and then the left holder 7 is slid rearward and primarily fixed. |
