CONNECTION METHOD FOR FLUID TRANSFERRING PIPE AND BRANCH PIPE

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of partial fusion strength in a connection part of a branch port formed on a fluid transferring pipe such as a corrugate pipe to a branched pipe. CONSTITUTION:A branch pipe 2 made of thermosetting resin is inserted into a circular branch port 1a of a corrugated pipe 1 made of thermosetting resin. Current carrying is performed to a nichrome wire previously wound around a connection part 2a of the branch pipe 2 to the branch port 1a for connecting the corrugate pipe 1 to the branch pipe 2. An outer diameter of the branch pipe 2 at its connection part 2a to the branch port 1a is previously set larger than the diameter of the branch port 1a by 0.5 to 5.0%. A leading end 2b of the branch pipe 2 is gradually narrowed as it goes from the connection part 2a to the tip portion. In addition, the outer diameter of the leading end is previously set smaller than the diameter of the branch port 1a.
