Integrally cast type rim (2) for mounting a tyre comprising at least two beads, and including, seen from the meridian cross-section, at least a first (23') and a second (23'') rim seat, as well as a rim base (21). The first rim seat (23') slopes outwardly; the second rim seat (23'') has a generator with its axially inner end on a circle of at least equal diameter to that of the circle on which the axially inner end of the first rim seat (23') is situated; the rim base (21) being devoid of grooves. The assembly comprising such a rim and tread support ring (3) is useful for running with a fully or partially deflated type mounted using said assembly.
