A laminated polyester film composed of a first layer comprising a first aromatic copolyester having a terminal carboxyl concentration of 10-35 equivalents per 10<6> g and a second layer comprising a melt blend of an aromatic polyester containing ethylene terephthalate as the main repeating unit with a third aromatic polyester containing tetramethylene terephthalate as the main repeating unit and having a terminal carboxyl concentration of 40-80 equivalents per 10<6> g. This film is excellent in the workability in can manufacture, for example, in drawing after being laminated with a metallic sheet, and the impact resistance and flavor retention after can manufacture.
