<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double ended piston-type compressor and an assembling method for it, capable of effectively finding the suitable preload, and having a little vibration. SOLUTION: The suitable preload F0 is determined by F0 >2Mbrg /R. The preload F0 is determined by an interference of a through bolt 23 (=(thickness of thrust bearings 39, 40 - distance between supporting parts)/2), moreover, the interference is determined by tightening torque of the through bolt 23. F0 indicates preload to be applied to the thrust bearing, Mbrg indicates the moment to be applied to the thrust bearing, and R indicates the thrust bearing supporting radius.</p> |
