The tin-channel tube is made from a metal strip which has its edges (15, 21) folded inwards to form a central partition (2) and two outer zones (9, 10) with U-section ends forming two adjoining flat channels (23, 24). The two opposite sides (7, 8) of the partition have stops (5, 6) for the edges, made either from bends in the partition or projections spaced at intervals. In addition, at least one surface of the metal strip is given a coating of brazing alloy.
