<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make each communication line execute packet switching and the resending of a modulation frame by making it access external frame memory and an input-output driver through a switching circuit that connects to a static bus and a circuit switching bus under the control of each circuit. SOLUTION: A microprocessor 1 controls a static bus 7, a circuit switching bus 8, external frame memory 3 and a series of switching circuits 2 which are mutually connected with an input-output driver via an internal communication bus 9. Also, frame memory 10 and a loop controller 18 which are separately connected to a static receiver 11 and a static transmitter 12 control the memory 3 and a loop. Furthermore, the processor 1 carries out transmission that is programmable and is in a repeating pattern by using an internal resource 26 and a MIC switching matrix 14. Thereby, packet switching is carried out and also a modulation frame which uses an encoded pulse can be resent.</p> |
