PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely retain precise electric resistance by adjusting the resistance value of a resistor wire extended between two lead pins and buried in an insulator powder by the lead pins. SOLUTION: A resistor wire 12 made of a chromium-nickel alloy and screw parts 26, 28 of lead pins 14, 16 made of a steel are surrounded with an insulator powder of magnesium oxide in a cylindrical outer casing 42. The resistor wire 12 is wound on a coil 44, with the same inner diameter as the of the screw parts 26, 28 and the coil parts 30, 32 of the resistor wire 12 are retained at proper positions by the screw parts 26, 28. Then, the screw parts 26, 28 are so fitted as to make the coil parts 30, 32 rotatable. After that, either one of the pins 14, 16 is rotated to adjust the effective electric resistance of the spiral part 38 of the resistor wire 12 between the pins 14, 16 to a predetermined value. Consequently, an electric heat radiating body having uniform and precise resistance value can be obtained. |
