<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for which forgery is extremely difficult and the discrimination of a genuine article from a forgery is extremely simple. SOLUTION: Letters 12 of 'inspected' and a manufacturer's name 14 are printed on the surface on a seal 10 by a regular ink, and a model name 16 and a trade mark 18 are printed by liquid crystal ink for which the color change temperature is set to 34 deg.C. Although the model name 16 and the trade mark 18 cannot be visualized at the temperature of lower than 34 deg.C, the coloration is available for them when a human hand is touched and the temperature is above 34 deg.C to visualize them, and based on the color change, whether a genuine article or a forgery can be discriminated extremely simply. When the combination of designs and colors, positions and the like of the model name 16 and the trade mark 18 are varied in various ways, extremely large numbers of kinds and varieties are available and the forgery is extremely difficult. Thus the forgery of the seal 10 is extremely difficult, and the discrimination of whether a genuine article or not is extremely simple to eliminate the inconveniences of seals heretofore available.</p> |
