<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alarm the occurrence of a risk of collision of a vehicle concerned with the forward vehicle also to the backward vehicle by lighting a brake lamp to alarm the risk to the backward vehicle wen an information processing circuit judges the risk. SOLUTION: The possibility of collision of a vehicle concerned with an obstruction is judged by a signal processing parts 3 according to the speed of the vehicle concerned, relative speed, free running speed on the basis of the distance information of a distance detecting part 1 for detecting the distance between the vehicle concerned and the obstruction by use of laser beam and the speed information of the vehicle concerned detected by the vehicle speed sensor 31 of a traveling state detecting part 2. The distance between the vehicle concerned and the obstruction is displayed on the distance indicator 51 of an alarming part 4, and the possibility of collision is alarmed by an alarm 52. A lateral pair of brake lamps 53, 54 are connected in parallel to the alarm 52. Counterflow preventing diodes 55, 56 are connected to the output of an arithmetic circuit 44. When a risk of collision occurs, the alarm 52 is operated to alarm the risk to the driver of the vehicle concerned, and the brake lamps 53, 54, are lighted to alarm it to the backward vehicle.</p> |
