The drive unit has a hydraulic circuit in which a pump (8.1) controllable in two supply directions is used for both chambers of the working unit in order to set a setting unit of the drive unit between two dead positions. A hydraulic control circuit (2) acts with the hydraulic pump, and includes a hydraulic setting member (2.2), acting with the pump so that it is acted on by the pressure difference between two pressure connections (2.9, 2.10) of the setting member.
