The invention refers to a thermal energy metre designed to measure thermal energy delivered to domestic and industrial consumers, via a heat carrier liquid, which is circulated within a narrow flow range. According to the invention, the metre has some temperature sensors (3 and 4), mounted on the outgoing and return pipes (2 and 5), and connected to an integrating computer (6), and a flow sensor (A). This is provided with a rotor (7), whose blades contain some permanent magnets (8), and which is supported, by means of an axle (9), with some ceramic bearings (10). The rotor (7) is located in the vicinity of an electronic circuit (12) which is connected to the integrating computer (6). The flow sensor (A) can be mounted either by insertion on the outgoing pipe (2), by means of a calibrated body (13), or directly on the outgoing pipe (15) with a wide diameter.
