FIELD: blasting operations, applicable for improving the quality of rock crushing due to rationally organized interaction of stress waves and increased time of blast action on rock mass. SUBSTANCE: the essence of the invention is in conventional separation of extended explosive charges into parts and individual initiation of these parts so as to provide summation of stress waves in the area of strong sections in the rock bench, for example, at the level of the bench bottom or in the area of the rock layer contacting with tamping; besides, the use of locking charge in tamping facilitates prolongation of action of detonation products on the rock mass to be destructed.
