The rotative pneumatic motor (RPM) is used in the poweractuations in barrier and gantry mechanisms, gripping devices,automatick packaging lines, etc. It ensures revolving angle up to90o, there is no resistive moment on the part of the flexibleelement. In addition the motor has a large driving moment(especially in case of samll revolving angles) and little weightand overall dimensions. The RPM consists of a base (1) on whichstands (2) are perpendicularly fixed in which a shaft (3) restsfixed to an arm (5). Arm (5) is fitted parallely to base (1) andto flexible element (6) in the form of a flexible hose bent intwo. The latter is mounted between arm (5) and base (1), its endsbeing airtight and fixed by means of plates (7) and screws (8) tothe ends of base (1) and arm (5). A pipe connection (9) isconnected to the lower part of base (1) across the wall of thehose through which the operating fluid runs.1 claims, 1 figure/!
