The device is used in the electronic industry for controllingthe work of industrial products and in transport for controllingthe running and the condition of the rolling stock. By it theprocess of scanning, adequate conversion in digital form,decoding, and after additional processing, printing of informationrecorded by an optical or mechanical registering unit on a tapecarrier is automated. The device includes a transport mechanismconsisting of a left- and righthand type carrying roller, therighthand one being connected to an electric motor. On the zonebetween the two rollers there is a crossbar above which a tapecarrier of information travels. In case of a transparent tapecarrier a dissuse-dissipation light plate is fitted on thecrossbar. Above the information carrier a light source, a mirrorand an optic system projecting a specified part of the tapecarrier on a photo receiver - a charge carrying device (CCD) aremounted. On the left side of the tape carrier a sensor is fittedfor recording the speed of the tape travel. A personal computermaking use of software developed for this purpose controls theoperation of the device by means of a controller and secures thedata processing and printing.3 claims, 1 figure/!
