摘要 PURPOSE: Structure for reinforcing a battery tray is provided to improve local and entire stiffness of a battery tray and to absorb a shock applied to the battery tray in vibration and collision of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Side reinforcements(4) are welded with insides of both side frames(3) of a battery tray(2) wherein batteries are received. Side members(7) are fixed on the side frame via bolts(5) and nuts(6). A member reinforcement(9) is inserted into the side member, and of which inner face is supported on the bolt while upper and lower portions of the outer face are fixed on an outrigger(8) via welding. Therefore, local and entire stiffness is strengthened when the battery tray is mounted. A lower reinforcement(19) installed at lower portion of the battery tray increases stiffness strengthening efficiency. A shock applied to the battery is absorbed in reinforcement brackets and a shock absorbing member(15) filled in a recessed part of a center frame(14). The shock absorbing member prevents bending of the battery tray by moving up and down in vibration and collision of a vehicle.
