PURPOSE: A method for recording additional information of a document in a printer is provided to easily input the additional information of a document by recording the additional information in a readable form through a determined reader. CONSTITUTION: Printing data are transmitted from a computer(S10). It is judged whether additional information is recorded to a document to be printed(S20). The additional information is extracted(S30). The additional information is converted into a bar code image(S40). The bar code image is added to the printing data(S50). The printing data are printed(S60).
