PURPOSE: A method for copying a flash memory using a duplicated processor board is provided to rapidly and accurately copy a flash memory without using a special flash memory copying device in a duplicated processor board. CONSTITUTION: Two duplicated processor boards(PB1,PB2) are mutually connected through a communication channel(CCH). A serial input/output port of the processor boards(PB1,PB2) is connected to a personal computer(10). The processor boards(PB1,PB2) are equipped with a processor, a RAM, a ROM, a flash memory and other control logics. The processor boards(PB1,PB2) transmit and receive a message through the communication channel, and communicate with the personal computer(10) through the serial input/output port(SP).
