<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a cable sheath cutter which can cut the sheath even of a cable having large diameter quickly and easily by a uniform length. CONSTITUTION: When the terminal of a cable C is inserted between bases 2, 3 and the switch lever of a motor hydraulic tool is depressed, the bases 2, 3 are applied with oil pressure to clamp a cable. Lateral cutters 6 provided for the bases 2, 3 cut the sheath of the cable at the end thereof while at the same time longitudinal cutters 8 provided for both bases 2, 3 cut the sheath of the cable C in the axial direction.</p> |
