<p>The solution according to the invention is designed for improving the comfort of cycling, especially for the elderly, disabled and bike beginners, mainly in such situations which require from the bicyclist that he often stops, comes to short rests and continues the cycling, without a necessity to descent the bicycle saddle. According to the invention the bicycle saddle set is provided with the saddle (4) with a variable regulated height during the cycling, standstills or starts. Owing to the application of the toggle mechanism (10) which in the straightened position unlocks the saddle (4) in the raised position (6) due to perpetual action of the spring (21). The toggle mechanism (10) is ejected from the straightening position by means of the hand lever (29), via the tension member (16). The saddle (4) can be lowered under of the bicyclist's weigth once the ejector (11) has been put in motion. The toggle mechanism (10) can be also interlocked in the declined position, viz. in the lowered position of the saddle (4) owing to the catch pawl (13) which rests on the projection (17) constituting the end of the arm (10a) in the toggle mechanism (10). Alternatively to the above-described structure the toggle mechanism (10) can be ejected from the straightened position through the rotation of the pedals (30) backwards.</p> |
