PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of attaching a slide member efficiently without using adhesive and increasing safety in work. SOLUTION: A metallic slide board 2 is bonded on a foundation face 1. The slide member 3 made of resin having low friction is fitted in a recessed part 7 provided in a steel plate 6 in an end part of a support body supporting a structure 4 for slide support between the slide board 2 and the slide member 3. In the base isolation device constituted in this way, a filler 10 made of a softer material than the steel plate 6 in the end part, for example, lead is pressed in a clearance between an inner periphery of the recessed part 7 of the steel plate 6 in the end part and the slide member 3 to fix the slide member 3 on the steel plate 6 in the end part. |
