CIRCUIT FOR CONTROLLING SET BATTERY AND BATTERY PACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for controlling a set battery which assures low cost and small power consumption. SOLUTION: A photocoupler 7 (11 mA is fed) is connected to a first power supply 11 (5V) and a second power supply 12 (12V), and is operated with the second power supply of 12V. A total current dissipation can be lowered because a feed current of photocoupler becomes a part of the supply current of the first power supply 11, in comparison with the contemporary set battery control circuit.
