PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source analyzing device for moving body which can accurately analyze the sound source of a moving body in detail. SOLUTION: When the high-sensitivity area of a microphone array scans in the moving direction of a moving body, a waveform generating means generates level variation waveforms P1...Pm in order. A passing sound waveform extracting means extracts, for example, level values A1...Am of a sound corresponding to an arbitrary direction angleθ0 from the level variation waveforms P1...Pm and generates the level variation waveform Poa passing sound generated when the moving body passes a specific position in the direction of the arbitrary direction angleθ0 moving sound waveform extracting means extracts level values B1...Bm of a sound corresponding to the moving direction of the moving body from the level variation waveforms P1...Pm and generates the level variation waveform Poa moving sound generated when the moving body 1 passes. Consequently, the level variation waveforms PA and PB which are not affected by response characteristics are generated and the sound source can accurately be analyzed.
