PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet roller wherein almost no warpage is generated, variation of magnetic properties (dispersion of magnetic flux in axial direction) can be controlled within a level which presents no problem in terms of practical applicability, non-uniformity of photographic density of pictorial image is prevented to be optimum for colorization in all ranges of working temperature. SOLUTION: Several magnet pieces adjusted in terms of linear expansion coefficient are compounded to form a magnet roller in such a way that of the magnet pieces comprising the magnet roller, the magnet piece having a maximum linear expansion coefficient (Lmax) and the magnet piece having a minimum linear expansion coefficient (Lmin) satisfy the relationship of (Lmax<=1.3×Lmin).
