<p>The invention concerns a method for determining the types and amounts of wax to be applied on the gliding surface of skis, taking into account climatic and geographical conditions along a course (temperature, hygrometry, luminosity, meteorological forecast, type of snow flakes) and the implementing device. Said device consists of a housing (2) fixed on the upper surface (S) of the ski (1). The housing (2) is equipped with a micro-computer, several sensors for physical quantities (temperature (4), hygrometry (5), luminosity (3), pressure (6), sound (14), orientation (10), distance (12), a surface temperature sensor (7) fixed on the lower surface (J) of the ski (1), display means (9), keys (8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4) and communication means (13).</p> |
