PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner using no oil which can realize both of high light transmitting property and offset resistance, which can maintain advanced developing property even when the waste toner is recycled, and which can give high density and low background fog and prevent filming on a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The toner is prepared by adding a fixing assistant comprising unsaturated carboxylic acids, alcohol and synthetic hydrocarbon wax to polyester resin having specified mol.wt., and then subjecting the mixture to high shear kneading to obtain a specified mol.wt. of the toner.
