<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester resin spherical toner and a method for manufacturing the toner such that deterioration in the resin is little even when the resin is passed through a continuous emulsifying machine, that the grain size distribution is not too wide for the toner, and that the toner is excellent in low temperature fixing property and causes no problem of offset resistance. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic spherical toner consists of straight chain polyester resin (A) having >=120 deg.C softening point and >=30,000 weight average mol.wt., and polyester resin (B) having the softening point lower than that of the polyester resin (A) and having <30,000 weight average mol.wt. The spherical toner is manufactured by dispersing a molten mixture of (A), (B) and a coloring agent (C) in a molten state in a water-based medium, cooling and drying.</p> |
