摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue the motion correction of an image in a video image signal due to the shake of an imaging apparatus even when a motion vector is not reliable. SOLUTION: A motion vector signal S1 is sensed from the video image signal obtained from an imaging device 2 by a motion-vector sensing circuit 7. The output of an angular velocity sensor 13 is converted into a motion vector- corresponding signal S2 by a correction part 102. The signal S2 and the signal S1 are derived selectively to a memory control circuit 8 by an output changeover part 103. The contrast of the video image signal obtained from the imaging device 2 is determined by a decision part 105, and the reliability of the signal S1 is determined on the basis of a sensitivity mode. When the reliability is obtained to a certain degree, the changeover processing operation of the changeover part 103 is controlled in such a way that a correction processing operation is executed on the basis of the signal S1. When the reliability is low, the changeover processing operation of the changeover part 103 is controlled in such a way that the correction processing operation is executed on the basis the signal S2.</p>
