PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing system for dried sea weed products inhibiting unevenness of processing, capable of economically sterilizing in a short time to an acceptable level of bacteria counts without accompanying change of physical properties and quality deterioration. SOLUTION: This sterilizing apparatus is composed of a gas permeable basket 2 capable of sterilizing while filled with the dried sea weed products 1, a sterilizing tank 3 composed to sterilize and sea weed products 1 in the basket 2 by a high temperature steam, an inverting apparatus 4 supplying the sterilized sea weed products 1 by inverting the basket 2 got out from the sterilizing tank 3 to a crumbing system 5, the crumbing system 5 crumbing the sterilized sea weed products 1 which is inverted by inverting apparatus 4 and discharged from the basket 2, crumbed into all to pieces. |
