PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both the electromagnetic environment and the acoustic environment, for reduced thickness and weight, resulting in easy installation. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave absorbing soundboard comprises an air layer 3 between a surface layer 1 and a reflecting substrate 2. The surface layer 1 allows a part of the electromagnetic wave and sound to transmit while reflects a part of them. The reflecting substrate 2 reflects both the electromagnetic wave and the sound. The layer structure comprising the surface layer 1, the air layer 3, and the reflecting substrate 2 absorbs both the electromagnetic wave and the sound for damping.
