PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display system which enables mobile terminals to display maps so that a relation between an azimuth of a movement destination to which the mobile terminal moves and an orientation of the displayed map is easy to understand. SOLUTION: It is detected whether the mobile terminal is present in a predetermined region on a path. When the presence of the mobile terminal in a predetermined region is detected, map data for indicating a map of the neighborhood of the predetermined region is transmitted to the mobile terminal. The transmitted map data is received, and a map represented by the received map data is displayed to a display part so that an advance direction of the mobile terminal on the path becomes upward on the display. |
