PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocationically polymerizable adhesive exhibiting adhesive force and heat resistance in a short time, having a long pot life and easy to establish optimum conditions for photoirradiation intensity and photoirradiation time and to provide a thermally active, photocationically polymerizable liquid adhesive having a high peeling strength and excellent in transparency. SOLUTION: The thermally active, photocationically polymerizable liquid adhesive comprises a liquid composition comprising an epoxy group-containing compound (1), a hydroxy group-containing compound (2) and a photocationic polymerization catalyst (3), the molar ratio of the epoxy group to the hydroxy group present in the composition (epoxy group: hydroxy group) being (100:0.1) to (100:3), and incorporated therewith, an acrylic esteroligomer having a weight- average mol.wt. of 2,000-20,000 obtained by polymerizing acrylic ester monomers as the main component.
