PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect the target nuclear acid by carrying out electron transfer between first and second labeled substances through a double helix structure of the hybrid in the coexistence of hybrid of the target nucleic acid and a probe. SOLUTION: A labeled unit binding, through a tinker, a first and second labeled substances which can mutually be reacted by phenomenon in which electron flows through a double helix structure in the coexistence of hybrid of a target nucleic acid in a sample with a probe nucleic acid is prepared and a probe nucleic acid having a sequence which is complementary to a base sequence of the target nucleic acid is fixed in a prescribed part on a support and the probe nucleic acid is brought into contact with the sample under conditions in which the target nucleic acid and the probe nucleic acid form the hybrid and the labeled unit is fed to a prescribed part on the support in which the hybrid is formed and whether change based on mutual action between the first and second labeled substances exist or not is detected to simply and precisely detect the presence or absence of hybrid in the sample. |
