PROCESS FOR DETERMINING CELL VITALITY AND EFFICIENCY IN PARALLEL AFTER A GENE TRANSFER INTO EUKARYOTIC CELLS AND DUAL TEST SYSTEM

A process and dual test system are disclosed for determining cell vitality and efficiency in parallel by using a reporter gene after a gene transfer into eukaryotic cells in the same culture vessel. A modified acid phosphatase assay is combined with a report gene assay (beta-galactosidase assay) for simultaneously determining cell vitality and reporter gene expression.
