LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color display type liquid crystal display element which has improved display performance and yield without using plastic beads and enables the man-hour therefor to be reduced, and is inexpensive as a result.

SOLUTION: Insulation is maintained by making a columnar spacer (133) provided in a counter substrate (130) abut on a wiring layer, specially on an auxiliary capacity line (152) of an active matrix substrate (140). The spacer can be formed of a conductive colored layer to function as an electrode transition member.
