摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for aligning a polarizer and rubbing axes, which removes a rubbing mura and a ghost image caused by an electric field applied to a panel in a low gray scale and dark state, in relation to a fringe field switching (FFS) liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer and the rubbing axes on a lower plate on which light to be polarized is made incident are aligned in such a manner that an angle formed between the polarizer and the rubbing axes is a first predetermined angle. The polarizer and the rubbing axes on an upper plate from which polarized light goes out through a liquid crystal are aligned in such a manner that an angle formed between the polarizer and the rubbing axes is a second predetermined angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
