<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure water stop performance (i.e. sealing performance) regardless of the surface state of light receiving glass by a simple structure where workability is taken into account when a solar cell module is attached. <P>SOLUTION: An end face sealing member 1 is formed into a frame shape along the outline of a solar cell module body and has a substantially U-shaped cross-section defined by an upper sealing piece 11 abutting against the surface side of the solar cell module, a lower sealing piece 12 abutting against the rear surface side of the solar cell module, and a lateral sealing piece 13 abutting against the end face of the solar cell module. The sealing piece is formed to have a substantially U-shaped cross-section defined by an upper sealing piece abutting against the surface side of the solar cell module body, a lower sealing piece abutting against the rear surface side of the solar cell module body, and a lateral sealing piece abutting against the end face of the solar cell module body and has a two-layer structure. Since the outer layer is hard and the hardness of the inner layer is lower than that of the outer layer, even an irregular glass surface can be sealed tightly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
